1. What we collect
When you visit Senskai we record basic request data (page, timestamp, IP-derived country) to keep the service running and measure usage. If you create an account we store your email, a hashed password, your watch list, and your calibration choices.
2. Why we collect it
We use this data to (a) deliver the recommendations you actually came for, (b) prevent abuse, and (c) understand which parts of the site work and which don’t. We do not sell your data and we do not run third-party ad networks.
3. Cookies and local storage
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and local storage to remember your theme preference (light or dark) and session-scoped UI state. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.
4. How long we keep it
Account data is kept until you delete your account. Request logs are retained for 90 days then aggregated and discarded.
5. Your choices
You can request a copy of your data, correct anything that looks wrong, or delete your account at any time. Email us from the address on file and we’ll act within 30 days.
6. Third parties
Anime metadata comes from AniList’s public GraphQL API. We never send your personal data to AniList or any other anime catalogue. Authentication and hosting infrastructure are provided by Supabase and our cloud host respectively.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above. See also our terms of service.
